A Western Word or Two

Never thought I’d be writing westerns. Blame it on Nick Wale at Dusty Saddle Publishing who said to me, “You should be writing westerns.” So I did. I tried one and suddenly remembered I had the background for it: Grew up in Texas, Watched Cowboy Movies at the Ritz every Saturday afternoon when I was 12, Rode a horse every day, Milked a cow. I new the people, the geography, and I could speak Texan. Next came all these classic-style westerns you see below, made, one hopes, with a little touch of adult common sense thrown in the mix just for the hell of it.
